On December 30th we decided we'd make the trip into New York City and see the "Ball" before it dropped. As much as we would have liked to have been there on New Years Eve and see the Jonas Brothers in person, we figured it would be a little much with four kids. So we checked out the new ball in Times Square and walked the streets of the city. Wow, it's another lady liberty!
We also wanted to see the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Ceneter. It was beautiful. And it was a zoo! Apparently lots of other folks were doing the same thing we were. And here's a shot of Madison doing the can-can in front of Radio City Music Hall. 
And here's our parting shot of the City skyline from the Staten Island Ferry. That's how we get into the city...drive to Staten Island and take the ferry over to Manhattan. And the ferry is FREE! You just have to pay $8 to cross the bridge to the island.
