Taylor decided that he wanted to achieve the rank of Eagle Scout. (Nothing like waiting until the 11th hour!) So we had to review what was missing for him to get all his merit badges. He needed to either snow shoe or bike 15 miles. Since it was summer we decided to go for the bike ride. And we have the perfect place...Valley Forge National Park. There is a bike trail that goes around the park that is 5.5 miles so we just needed to go around three times. It was a gorgeous day in a beautiful place. We arrived mid-morning, rented our bikes and off we went. We had a great time. My bum was a little sore by the end of the ride but it was worth it. What a wonderful memory I have with my wonderful son!
